Earlier in the week, we detected emancipationist leaves on the blown-up one, now grown to or so four feet in height. Well, for numerous time period they have languished, growing very slowly. Caterpillars were feeding on the leaves, skeletonizing them, and spinning loose webs.

), two of my co-workers brought me specimens of the above tracked vehicle yesterday. One of these colleagues resides in southern Franklin County, and one of the cats in the photo is her specimen. When she brought it in, the larva was new to me - I had ne'er seen one, and had no thought what it was.
